Ice Cube Drops New Single “Trying To Maintain”

Ice Cube has dropped a new solo single overnight titled “Trying To Maintain.”

While he’s been busy in the studio on features and with Mt. Westmore (Snoop Dogg, Too Short, Ice Cube, E-40) for their first single “Step Child,” this is is first solo music since the 2018 album “Everythang’s Corrupt.”

The new release via Lenchmob Records could well be just Cube getting things off this chest after months of being vocal on social media and in the press about the events of 2020 and Black Culture – or a new album. Time will tell.
