(New Exclusive Interview) Rapper EJ All Dey Talks Music With Imperial Hustle Magazine
1. How long have you been doing music?
Been musical my whole life. Started on saxophone in 6th grade. Sang in choir at church. Then drums and lastly rapping for past 5 years.
2. Breakdown your style and sound?
I pride myself on being versatile. I’m kind of a mix of Tee Grizzley, Kanye and Ty Dolla Sign.
3. How does your environment effect the type of music thst you create?
Where my head is at definitely influences the kind of beats I gravitate towards. Nowadays my environment is mostly quiet and helps me focus in.
4. What other business ventures do you have outside of music?
I’m involved in Amazon, Air BnB, and Forex automation. Will be doing more real estate and starting companies down the line.
5. Breakdown your name EJ All Dey and what it means?
@ejalldey is my social media name on all platforms. E-J is stage name and name on all my songs. ALL-DEY was the rap group I started in. Now it will be my record label ALL-DEY Music Group.
6. What is the concept behind Ganggang?
That came from a time in my life where I was angry at the world and my job/boss at the time. Was just tired of everything and just exploded on the track. I converted that energy to something creative. Now ppl love that song when I perform it. I’ll be performing next on January 18th at Monarch Theatre in Downtown Phoenix.
7. Where do you see your brand and career in the next 5 years?
Brand wise I’ll have a sneaker deal with some major company and several of my own companies. Career wise multiple World Tours and charting albums/singles will be great!
