Skyzoo & Dumbo Station – The Bluest Note (Studio Report + Interview w/ Danno) [Video]

In June of 2019 we flew Skyzoo over to Roma, Italy to write, compose and record “The Bluest Note” with Italian nu-jazz band Dumbo Station and engineer Jesse Germanò at Jedi Sound Studios. Over the course of a full week they created an incredible 6 songs album where hip-hop and jazz blend perfectly. On the last day of the recording session we had the pleasure of having legendary Roman emcee DANNO (Colle Der Fomento / Welcome 2 The Jungle) to conduct an in-depth interview with Skyzoo during which they discussed the project with Dumbo Station, social and cultural differences across the world and a lot more.
