Tekashi 6ix9ine has been released from Federal Prison of Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center

As we know, Tekashi’s case has been a high profile one since he’s one of the most talked about and controversial artists in the game. Daniel Hernandez, better known as 6ix9ine/Tekashi69, was placed in the general population of the prison deemed “extremely dangerous” by the United States Justice Department.

But as of yesterday, November 21st, he has been released from the federal metropolitan detention center. A search of the Federal Bureau of Prisons website clearly states that Tekashi, who was inmate number 86335-054 at the prison was released yesterday. See screenshot below. It is interesting to note that no announcement has been made about the release yet by anyone from his team or the authorities.

Two of Tekashi’s other associates, Kifano “Shotti” Jordan and Faheem “Crippy” Walter are still locked up at the Brooklyn MDC, according to their website with the release date listed as “unknown.” It isn’t clear if Tekashi is back home or has been kept by the federal authorities at another secure facility to avoid any trouble but chances of the latter being the case are low, according to an expert HHNM spoke to.

Tekashi was arrested on racketeering and firearms charges earlier this week, amounting to a total of 6 counts that could mean 32 years to life in prison for the rapper.
