(New Exclusive Interview) Bo Locc Talks Music With Imperial Hustle Magazine
1. Lets talk about “back To Life” for a minute. Breakdown the record
and the concept behind the video?
I wrote bacc to life because I was at the point of my life where I
felt like I conquered my day to day struggling as far as running the
streets and all things that may prevent me from achieving my goals and
at that particular time I felt like nothing could stop me. And the
concept of the was basically a celebration for myself and all of my
loved ones. Bringing us all bacc from being down so long and giving
the people a view of our reality.
2. How important is it for you to have videos for your singles and
what do you feel the videos do for the record?
Shooting videos is important for any single because instead of just
being heard, your giving the people a view of where your coming from
and who you really are. With that being said people can decide rather
if they buy into you or not. When people can actually SEE you doing
what you love gives them that same vibe and that I believe helps the
record.
3. What is the hardest thing in life you had to overcome and how did
you overcome it?
Becoming a man. Growing up in my neighborhood it was a bunch of cats
all going through pretty much the same things to survive. But actually
becoming a grown man was a lot harder than just being able to provide.
I had to put my childish ways aside like hanging all the time instead
of spending more time at home putting that energy into what’s
important because at any given time anything could’ve happened. The
lifestyle got old and I started noticing the change in myself where I
wasn’t feeling it no more, I guess that’s when I grew up which took a
very long time

I look up to these dudes because of their lyrics mainly and successes,
5. What is the best soul food spot in Ohio and what is your favorite
dish to eat?
Can’t really say I have a best because I never been to many. I can’t
eat just anybody’s food I’m picky when it comes to that so I would
have to say my mom’s kitchen lol And my favorite dish is roast,
potatoes and vegetables
6. where do you see your brand and career in the next 5 years?
In some of the top ranks and my career continuing to grow!
