Money $ Layne is a Nashville, Tennessee artist (hustler / rapper/ family man). Layne was aware of his gift of writing and rapping in his adolescent years. He began writing lyrics in grammar school and eventually recorded his first song at sixteen. Some of his musical influences include artists U.G.K., 8 Ball & MJG, Ghetto Boys, 2Pac, & Outkast to name a few.
$Layne describes his music as a representation of Southern Hustle meets the Universal Language, he talks of things that anyone can relate to, especially hustlers alike. Listening to his hustler lifestyle music, you can tell that his music are more like stories that come from his personal experience.
$Layne began touring throughout the middle Tennessee area with group “The Cartel Fam”. Currently $Layne has been touring throughout the central & south eastern region of the U.S. with artists on Drae Jackson of 6103 Entertainment MC’s roster including Crime Mob, Nappy Roots, & Juvenile.
